Ely House, 37 Dover Street

I've been neglecting photography for some time, so I decided to look at some of my most recent shots and process them. I checked their metadata and felt rather depressed to see they'd been taken back in February. Yep, I remember that cold gloomy day... I really need to discipline myself and find time to do this. I really do.
This one was shot in Dover Street in Mayfair. The building's called "Ely House" which is "an 18th Century townhouse of grand scale with impressive rooms. It was built between 1772 and 1776 for the Bishop of Ely by the renowned architect Robert Taylor (1714-1788) and was described as “one of the best houses in London” by Country Life in 2002." (Source: www.buildington.co.uk) Apparently it contains 48 spaces, business and residential combined and each estimated ...., oh well, a lot.
I am planning to do a Hampstead walk soon, visiting some of the sights in the village and walk through the Heath. I'll take my camera with me. The dog will love it. I might be able to take nice cheery shots for a change.
